What does "bring your own key" mean?
On the Free tier, you provide your own API keys for Deepgram (voice transcription) and Anthropic (Claude AI). Your keys are stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers. You pay those providers directly at their rates.
What's included in Pro's managed access?
Pro subscribers get access to Deepgram and Claude through our secure proxy. No need to create accounts with those providers or manage API keys. Everything is bundled in your $12/month subscription.
Can I use the same subscription on all platforms?
Yes! One Pro subscription gives you managed access across web, desktop, and mobile. Sign in with your GitHub account on any platform and your Pro status follows you.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from the Manage Subscription button in the app. Your billing is handled by Stripe — you can also manage it directly through the Stripe customer portal. No cancellation fees.
Is my code secure?
GitConnect Pro uses the official GitHub API with OAuth authentication. We never store your code — it goes directly between your browser and GitHub. API keys on the Free tier are stored locally and never leave your device.
